Cancrinite Meaning and Properties

Cancrinite is a sodium calcium aluminum silicate carbonate mineral. The wide color range of Cancrinite includes purple, blue-green, pink, yellow, orange, and white tones.

Its appearance sometimes has a non-metallic luster and thus can be mistaken as being a form of Feldspar but is classed as a Feldspathoid mineral due to its chemical composition.
