Moss Agate Meaning and Properties

Moss Agate (green Agate) is a form of Chalcedony with green dendritic inclusions and markings caused by the inclusions of iron and manganese oxides, technically not true Agates. There are blue and pink-toned varieties without included oxides and a red form from the United States of America that contains iron oxides. The rare Montana Agate is also classified as a form of Moss Agate.

The frequencies of Moss Agate connect to the base and heart chakras. This allows one to connect to Mother Earth and Nature’s spirits, helping one to feel the abundance of the Universe and aiding one in bringing one’s ideas and dreams into reality by grounding these energies.

This type of included Agates brings a peaceful and stabilizing energy to one’s emotional body and thus helps with “mood swings” and calming one’s temper. Their energies help to strengthen one’s etheric body and can thus stabilize one’s physical body and bring the various systems into balance, increasing one’s general well-being.

Blue-toned variety of this form of Agate has a strong connection to the third eye chakra aiding inner vision and psychic senses and the pink-toned variety has a strong connection to the heart chakra for emotional issues and healing. The red-toned form has a strong connection to the base chakra bringing a supportive and strengthening energy.
